Scraping Vs. Brushing your tongue

Many people resort to brushing their tongues with their toothbrush. This is definitely better than doing nothing at all, but it's not nearly as effective or convenient as scraping your tongue with a tongue scraper. Here's why:

1) Gag Reflex
Unlike most porn stars, I have an awful gag reflex. I hate when too much stuff is in my mouth and I don't like sticking things too far back either. With a tongue scraper you can control how deep it goes because you are bending it back into your mouth. With a toothbrush it just looks and probably feels like you're sucking a cock - which is totally fine, but not at 7am on a Monday...

2) Spreading the Bacteria
When you brush your tongue you're basically just spreading the bacteria around your tongue. Some of it is raised up and is able to wash out when you rinse your mouth, but the majority of it just stays in the tongue.

3)
Physics
Your teeth are hard so they need a soft surface like the bristles on your toothbrush to clean them. Your tongue is soft and needs something hard like a plastic tongue scraper to move it's way down the tongue and pick up any bacteria that is chilling there.

Also, don't use the thing on the back of some tooth brushes. That literally does nothing and should not be the correlation to tongue scraping that you have in your mind. You can get a free tongue scraper at www.dollarfreshsquad.com
